Allehanda Magazine: Winding Stairs impresses The duo Winding Stairs has done a fantastic job with the album "Surviving funeral season".
After the first listening, it feels as if you heard a whole catalog. Their pop contains everything - first time, electronica, second time folk, as if Lisa Ekdahl would have met Simon & Garfunkel at the The Knife's backyard.
Although it followed more of a common thread that comes partly from Lina's phenomenal voice, and partly from the brilliant, self-adhesive choruses. It is music full of enthusiasm and ideas that successfully tamed in the studio without losing the scent from the wilderness.
This is an album that, like an expensive pair of trousers are worthy to wear for a long time to come. If you like talent, there are no excuses..

10-03-28: UNDERWATER MUSIC VIDEO - For a while we´ve been working on this underwater music video. The video is based on the really exciting underwater world made by Jason de Caires Taylor. It´s now finished and pretty darn good if you ask us.

09-12-02: BEUTIFUL ROADMOVIE MUSIC VIDEO! - A wile ago we told you about the roadmovie musicvideo for the song "You see me" that was in the making. It´s now finished and you can see it here on our myspace. Oh, it´s so beautiful! This is the artist Malina Cailean and Steven Ladeceur own words of the process:
Through our works we like to show the poetry of the small, unimportant details of our daily lives that usually goes unnoticed. U See Me is for us a very melancholic song; landscapes from other faraway countries, images of warm summers and golden sunsets accentuate this longing for something good that passed so quickly. The video happened after the trip and the summer were long gone, of course in a nostalgic state of mind. Without a preconceived story in mind we concentrated on the composition, the details, the colors, the textures and the rhytm of the images, in relation to the song.

09-10-13: WINDING STAIRS COFFEE - We're soon off for a couple of gigs abroad and for a long time, we were debating what kind of merchandise to bring on the tour. Then we realized that we both love good coffee and have made a habit of choosing good coffee houses as meeting locations for the band.
A decision was made! We contacted Da Matteo, who has received several awards for their coffee, and shortly after, the Winding Stairs-coffee became reality.It's a blend of coffee from Brazilian farm São Silvestre and Vista Hermosa in Guatemala - an amazing combination! It's nutty, creamy and flowery with a smooth citrus feel and tones of milk chocolate.
