Surviving Funeral Season

Surviving Funeral Season is produced by ourselves. Our trusted partner Martin Molin from Detektivbyrån has mixed the record and played several of the instruments, such as theremin on Crosses. Throughout the recording, we have bounced our ideas off Nicholaus Sparding from Love Is All, who has also enhanced the album with guitar playing and world-class falsetto singing in Widows Walk.

For this recording, we have given our all. No complicated recording schedules, just one day and one instrument at a time. We have refrained from intellectualizing, and embraced the investigative.  We have turned over every stone and approached the songs from different perspectives. In a way, we feel like we have directed the album, rather than produced it. The result: a record that, irrelevant of trends, rests on the foundation of what popular music is all about; "a way in and a way out."
